Toolkit Licence and Product Terms

These terms explain what you get when you buy the Passive Solar Home Design Toolkit (“the Toolkit”) and how you may use it.
1. Who makes and who sells the Toolkit
The Toolkit is created by Biljana Gligoric, a private individual based in Kotor, Montenegro, publishing as Passive Solar Architecture (“we”, “us”). Contact: info@passivesolararchitecture.com.
The Toolkit is sold by our authorised reseller Lemon Squeezy (Sold through Link, LLC, formerly Lemon Squeezy LLC), which is the Merchant of Record for every order. Lemon Squeezy handles the checkout, payment, taxes, receipt and refund processing under its own Buyer Terms. These terms do not replace Lemon Squeezy’s terms; they set out the licence for using the Toolkit and our product commitments.
2. What you get
A digital download (ZIP file) with a PDF guide in six modules, an integrated Excel workbook, a completed worked example (workbook and example Project Design Brief) and “Start here” instructions.
The Toolkit is an educational early-stage design aid. It helps you prepare a documented design brief for your own project. It does not produce energy calculations, engineering designs, overheating assessments or compliance documents, and it does not replace an architect, engineer or energy assessor. Results depend on the information you enter.
3. Price and taxes
The price is shown on the product page and in the checkout. Lemon Squeezy calculates and collects any VAT or sales tax that applies in your country. Any launch discount and its limits are shown on the product page.
4. Licence
- The Toolkit is licensed, not sold, to one person: the buyer. You may use it for any number of your own projects. If you are a design professional, you may use it for projects you carry out for clients and share the Project Design Briefs you produce with those clients.
- You may not resell, share, publish or distribute the Toolkit files, or make them available to people outside your household or to colleagues who have not bought their own licence.
- We keep all intellectual property rights in the Toolkit.
5. Delivery
After payment, the download link is shown in the order confirmation and sent in Lemon Squeezy’s receipt email. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder, then write to us with your order number and we will help.
6. Refunds and your statutory rights
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, without giving a reason, even after downloading the files. See the Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
7. Updates and support
Corrections to version 1.x are free and are sent to the email address used for the purchase. Support covers downloading and using the files. We do not review individual designs.
8. Liability
The Toolkit is an educational design aid. We are not liable for design, construction, energy-performance or compliance decisions made using it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer-protection rules.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Montenegro. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
